The Well Doc Initiative has a proactive, structured, and human-centered program to acknowledge career transitions not as disruptions, but as integral milestones in a physician's professional identity. Rooted in evidence and driven by community, this initiative supports physicians in navigating the complexities of change.
The program delivers facilitated sessions that focus on providing informal emotional peer support with opportunities to share stories, listen to, and empathize with colleagues. All sessions aim to help physicians optimize the meaning in their work, collegiality, and psychological safety across the arc of a medical career. Through facilitated discussions and storytelling, this program fosters a culture where physicians can reflect, recalibrate, and reengage with their professional calling.
