Our History

The Well Doc Initiative stems from foundational work that far precedes the implementation of the formal The Well Doc Initiative cooperative. As described in the following, The Well Doc Initiative arose out of an identified need for a provincial approach to physician wellness in Alberta, based on a strong foundation of physician wellness research and education. Since then, it has expanded across Canada.

We are so grateful for this journey! Thank you to all of our supporters and contributors along the way.
