The Well Doc Initiative offers a 1.5-hour session introducing the science behind physician-to-physician peer support and emphasizes the importance of peer support as a foundational program for physician wellness at the system level. During this session, participants will learn evidence in support of peer support emerging from safety culture reform, touch upon different types of support available to physicians, and describe best practices for peer support programs. An introduction to The Well Doc Initiative Four-Step Process Peer Support Program will also be provided.
